Product Service Technician

Seeking a Product Service Technician to join our team. Individual must be career minded with solid background in industrial electronics. RF knowledge a plus.  Applicant must possess a clear understanding of digital and analog control circuits and a basic understanding of industrial control electronics.

Must be highly motivated, self-starter, and organized. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and be proficient with PC software.

Travel is required. Position will be based in Bradford, PA

Senior PLC / Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:

o       Primary Responsibility – This position requires knowledge of all PLC hardware and software specifications to support standardized and customs PLC based systems. This will include oversight and recommendations on PLC ladder logic program structure for all existing products and direct PLC programming for custom applications.

o       Other Responsibilities – Other engineering duties to include;

·   PLC program documentation scheme and maintenance.

·   Operations and Troubleshooting support for Product and/or Project manuals.

·   Overall control system design and documentation on custom projects.

·   Feasibility assessment, conceptual design and costing support for custom project proposals.

·   Production support / documentation and testing / characterization work on all custom projects.   

The qualified candidate must possess a BS or higher in EE, Physics, Mechanical Engineering and/or deemed equivalent.  Five (5) years experience in Industrial controls using PLC based systems. Detailed working knowledge / experience with DeviceNet, Ethernet and various other industrial protocols are also preferred. Interested candidates must possess strong background in all types of PLC modules to manage all common real world I/O requirements including analog, digital, frequency and PWM.  The qualified candidate should be team orientated, self motivated and organized.

Knowledge of the following will be advantageous:

·        Overhead Crane controls systems

·        Real time critical control for industrial equipment

·        Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC (SCL 500 and Logix family)

·        Locomotive equipment and/or control systems

·        RF systems engineering and/or antenna design

·        Circuit board design and/or integration experience

Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will design PC boards and other electronic and electromechanical assemblies used in our wireless remote control products. The individual will be responsible for large portions of designs on programs and in some cases play a lead role. Responsibilities will include carrying projects from conception through the design, layout, prototype, documentation, fabrication, assembly, integration test processes, and deployment in the field. The individual will be a key team member for the development of high performance systems, including portable operator control units and sophisticated machine control systems utilizing the latest in microprocessor and digital circuit designs.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications for consideration: Electrical Engineering degree and 5-10+ years experience. The individual’s experience should span the following areas: Circuit design and PCB layout of microprocessors, analog, digital (RF circuit and/or module integration a plus), (portable or low power circuit design experience a plus), mechanical design experience for product and system packaging, working knowledge of Assembly and C programming languages for circuit development, working knowledge of PLC Ladder programming to for system development.
